2010-2011 PTSO Elections

2010-2011 PTSO Elected Positions

 Pearl Harbor Elementary PTSO elections will be held in May.  We are looking for volunteers to help fill the PTSO board for the 2010-2011 school year.  Please look over the elected positions that are available.  If you would like more information about any of these positions please email us at phesptso@yahoo.com .  We would be happy to answer any questions you may have. 

The following are descriptions of the positions:

 **President:  presides over the Executive Board and General Membership meetings, acts as the designated spokesperson for the PTSO, helps to coordinate events planned by the PTSO.

 **VP- Activities: acts as an aide to the President, oversees the scheduling of all PTSO sponsored activities- like the Walk-A-Thon, Pumpkin Carving Night, and Parent Coffees- and works with the committees to make sure the activities are a success.

 ** VP- Fundraising: acts as an aide to the President and the VP-Activites to coordinate fundraising projects like the Walk-A-Thon and McTeacher Night, and works with the committees to make fundraising events a success.

 ** Secretary: records the minutes of all meetings of the PTSO and emails them to the Executive Board, supports PTSO activities and events.

 ** Treasurer- Keeps track of all finances of the PTSO maintaining records of cash flow, bank statements and taxes and supports PTSO activities and events.
